How Sinefe uses cookies in compliance with EU ePrivacy rules and African data protection laws.
This policy explains our use of cookies and similar technologies in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in EU/EEA member states), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and African data protection laws that require consent or a comparable legal basis for non-essential tracking (including POPIA, Kenya DPA 2019, Nigeria DPA 2023, and Ghana DPA 2012).
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies. Together, we refer to them as "cookies" in this policy where the same rules apply.
2. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies: used without consent because they are essential for security, authentication, and load balancing (ePrivacy exemption).
- Functional, analytics, and marketing cookies: used only after you give consent through our cookie banner, or where another valid legal basis applies under local law.
You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data, choosing "Essential only" when prompted again, or contacting info@topsusu.com.

Analytics and marketing
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If we introduce them, we will update this policy, request consent before activation, and list each provider here.
4. Third-party cookies
When you authenticate with Google, pay via Stripe or PayPal, or follow links to external sites, those providers may set cookies on their own domains under their privacy policies. We do not control those cookies.
5. How to manage cookies
- Use our site banner: "Accept all" enables functional cookies; "Essential only" limits you to strictly necessary cookies.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.
- Re-open the banner: clear sinefe-cookie-consent in your browser storage and refresh the page to choose again.

7. Changes
We will update this policy when our cookie practices change. We will re-seek consent where required by EU, UK, or African law.
